BLUE SEA SYSTEMS UL-489 Raised Rocker Circuit Breakers

Tailored circuit protection that satisfies CRF-46 for 250V

Each electrical system is unique to the boat and the boat owner; if the vessel falls under the jurisdiction of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs) it is has to follow certain specifications. For these specific applications, Blue Sea Systems offers UL-489 approved breakers that meet the requirements for CFR-46. The UL-489 Series circuit breakers combine circuit protection and switching into a flat rocker switch and are designed to fit Blue Sea Systems 360 panels. These breakers are capable of handling short start-up current surges found in electric motors and other appliances without tripping. For added safety, a Trip-Free feature prevents the rocker from being held in the ON position when a fault is detected. These single pole breakers are available in 30A-50A protection ratings.
